Open Spaces and Pavilions

Wooden footbridge with metal railings over a small creek in a suburban area, with houses in the background.

Miles of open space, as well as a thoughtful mix of native plants and grass for recreational use span the Stonegate North Villages landscape. Residents enjoy long trails and beautiful foot bridges, gazebos and BBQ facilities. There are plenty of spaces for community members to run, walk, cycle and play — and judging by a 2020 report, residents are doing just that. Douglas County was named the second healthiest community in the U.S. by U.S. News & World Report.
